The Health Buddy Program will help you take control of your health, while giving your doctor the information needed to make sure all is well.
You'll receive a Health Buddy appliance to use in the comfort of your own home. Once a day, the Health Buddy appliance will ask you a few simple, personalized questions about how you're feeling. You answer the questions at your convenience, from your home, just by pressing a button on the Health Buddy appliance.
A care manager with the Wenatchee Valley Medical Center will help you get started with the Health Buddy Program and monitor your health on an ongoing basis. Using a secure website, he or she will review the information you give to the Health Buddy appliance, and will communicate directly with your doctor about how you're doing.
The personalized, instructive Health Buddy Program will be adapted to your needs, and will provide continuous feedback to teach you how to be in charge of your condition.
Occasionally, early warning signs that your condition could be changing can appear before you even feel a difference. With the Health Buddy Program, your care manager and doctor can look out for those warning signs and get in touch with you early, before you start to feel worse, keeping you healthy and out of the hospital.
Plus, the Health Buddy Program provides you with daily information about your condition, helpful reminders, and fun facts and trivia questions. |

Easy to Use – the Health Buddy appliance requires no technical knowledge or experience and connects to an existing phone line. Quick – Your interaction with the Health Buddy appliance only takes a few minutes a day. You can answer the questions on the Health Buddy appliance at your convenience.
Supportive – You'll receive reminders and useful information specific to your medical condition.
